BALLERINA (USA, 2025) – Assim como Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence e Alicia Vikander, Ana de Armas agora é uma agente letal, capaz de enfrentar qualquer bandido que ouse ficar à sua frente, nessa passagem de bastão de John Wick, cujos filmes foram perdendo o dinamismo dos dois primeiros. Ana de Armas é uma graça de atriz, tem presença cênica (vejam os 15 minutos dela no último James Bond, uma das poucas coisas boas do filme), mas é muito fofa para um papel que tem na violência estrutural sua maior característica. O roteiro repete a velha fórmula da filha-procurando-vingança-pela-morte-do-pai e não tem o humor natural dos filmes protagonizados por Keanu Reeves. Like Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, and Alicia Vikander, Ana de Armas is now a lethal agent, capable of facing any bad guy who dares to stand in front of her, in this passing of John Wick’s baton, whose films had lost the dynamism of the first two. Ana de Armas is a cute actress; she has a scenic presence (see her 15 minutes in the last James Bond, one of the few good things in the film), but she is very cute for a role that has structural violence as its greatest characteristic. The script repeats the old formula of the daughter-seeking-revenge-for-the-death-of-the-father and does not have the natural humor of the films starring Keanu Reeves. Prime.
