O FIM DA RUA (THE END OF OAK STREET, USA, 2026) – Depois do problemático A Última Casa, com Wagner Moura, não havia muita esperança para uma outra casa onde uma típica família americana dos anos 80 começa a perceber que sua vizinhança está recebendo vários tipos de dinossauros como visitantes. Felizmente, o filme estrelado por Ewan McGregor e Anne Hathaway é muito bom e muito superior ao dos seres aquáticos do filme da Netflix. David Robert Mitchell, do excelente CORRENTE DO MAL (IT FOLLOWS), dirige com fluidez, deixando o filme enxuto, sem cair nas armadilhas fáceis no roteiro de filmes do gênero. A fotografia meio leitosa dos anos 80 está perfeita, trazendo o clima de Stranger Things para uma ambientação de um mundo pré-histórico que faz deste filme um produto muito superior a qualquer coisa lançada recentemente com o nome “Jurassic World”. O desfecho do filme requer ums atenção maior: perceba que a personagem Jeannette está duplicada na cena do churrasco, e aí está a chave para entender o que realmente aconteceu com os protagonistas. Fortunately, the movie starring Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway is very good and much superior to the aquatic beings in the Netflix movie. David Robert Mitchell, from the excellent IT FOLLOWS, directs fluidly, leaving the film lean, without falling into the easy traps in the script of films of the genre. The milky photography of the 80s is perfect, bringing the atmosphere of Stranger Things to a setting of a prehistoric world that makes this film a product far superior to anything recently released under the name "Jurassic World". The outcome of the film requires greater attention: notice that the character Jeannette is duplicated in the barbecue scene, and therein lies the key to understanding what really happened to the protagonists.
